It was a treat to join Shannon and Jason in beautiful Grand Haven,
MI to photograph their wedding day. Among our favorite photos
are those taken just before the reception, the heart-quickening
portion of the day completed. By a tree dripping with blossoms,
we snatched up some photos to the cheering horns of cars passing
by. Energy rushed between the two, their charisma and levity reminiscent of children through a sprinkler in summertime. Click to hear from Shannon about her Art Album.
Few would guess from their photos, but Heather and Mauricio have
been married for six years. Bet you'll think this looks like
an engagement shoot! They have come together across quite
a distance, Mauricio having grown up in Colombia, and Heather a
native of Tampa. What fun it was to be their third wheel
with a camera for an afternoon at the picturesque University of
Tampa.
India's streets are painted with people dressed in a vibrant
rainbow of gorgeous fabric, making it a fabulous place to photograph. Striking
colors are worn from everydays to wedding days, when red is the
traditional color of dress. I was delighted to happen upon
a wedding party celebrating with a blissful dip in the Bay of Bengal
adorned, of course, in the auspicious color of red.
